Our respawn system works just like it did in early Tibia. Monsters that belong to the same spawn share one timer, so they don’t appear all at once - they respawn one after another.
Most spawns use a timer of about 6 minutes (350-400 seconds). Just like the original system, the timing isn’t fixed: monsters can spawn anytime between half and full duration, usually 3–6 minutes.
Respawns can be blocked. If a player stays within 10 squares of a spawn, no monsters will spawn. Blocking also works across floors: being on the surface prevents ground-level spawns (levels 0–7), while underground you block floors up to two levels above or below, all the way to the surface.
The timer never pauses. If you stand nearby a spawn home, monsters won’t respawn, but the countdown keeps running. That means if the timer finishes, stepping away for a moment is enough for the spawn to instantly refresh.
