Combat & Spells

  • 7.4 spell formulas with slower regen and smaller mana pools than later eras
  • Spells can be casted with regex (EX URA, UTEVO LUX ""LIGHT)
  • No quotes needed when casting single-parameter spells
  • Damage from spells and runes applies to everyone on the same tile stack
  • UH traps work just as they did back in the day
  • NPCs only sell blank runes - you have to runemake or buy runes from other players
  • No object hotkeys, every action requires a manual actions
  • Runes don’t stack
  • Spells and runes depend only on magic level and mana
  • Sorcerers and druids rely on summons, runes and raw spellcasting - no wands or rods

Exhaust & Actions

  • Drinking a mana fluid adds a one-second delay before casting
  • Healing runes can be used without adding spell exhaust
  • Walking adds its own exhaust - you must lift the walk key to cast or use items
  • UseEx items can’t be fired directly from the battle list towards players
  • UseEx can’t be fired directly after a diagonal walk
  • Actions already started cannot be cancelled (rope-bag trick still works)
  • Walking and moving items feel just as smooth as in the original 7.4 client

Monsters & AI

  • Creatures appear with loot already generated and thus affect their armor
  • Overspawn mechanic is implemented - if you lure a monster away, a new one can appear while it’s still alive
  • Pathfinding is smarter: ranged creatures step back, summons reposition, monsters always face their target each cycle
  • Target changes happen only after a full attack round, preventing abuse of fast floor hopping
  • No hidden cooldowns - monsters attack with true 7.4 timing: ranged mobs can combo on chase, melee keep a two-second swing
  • Creatures can be roped
  • Summons behave logically: keep fighting, maintain diagonals and lines, don’t just tail the master

Respawn Rules

  • Each spawn uses one shared timer, not individual timers
  • Respawn isn’t paused by blockades - once the timer is up, new monsters appear if the area is clear
  • Respawn rate is based on online players

Map & World

  • A classic 7.4 world, expanded with later cities and regions rebuilt in oldschool style (Ankrahmun, Port Hope)
  • Luring is possible
  • Parcels can be stacked into makeshift stairs and platforms
  • Movable objects and monsters can be roped and stacked, letting players set traps
  • Every city comes with its own depot, reinforcing regional identity
  • Boats offer no safe zones - danger travels with you
  • Quests are rebuilt for the long game: major rewards must be looted from hunts and dungeons, not handed out, except for legendary quests like the Annihilator

Community & Fair Play

  • Firm stance against cheating - no bots, no macros, no multi-clienting
  • Tutors and gamemasters ensure fairness
  • This is a long-term project, not a quick cash grab
  • Premium perks mirror the classic era: extra depots, boats, houses, and cosmetic options
  • No automatic loot text - you have to check corpses manually
  • Blessings don’t protect items; only the Amulet of Loss prevents item loss
  • Players regain health and mana while resting in beds
